Award-winning chief gives Kleeneze recipe for success |

UK England--December 2009--Award-winning TV chef Nigel Smith is joining forces with Kleeneze to help promote its
innovative range of kitchen-wares, with videos and recipes showing customers how to save time and get better
results in the kitchen.
Nigel, who runs his own award winning restaurant at Ribby Hall in Lancashire and whose career has included stints
working with Albert Roux, Paul Heathcote and Anton Edelmann at the Savoy, has created six recipes specifically for
Kleeneze to be featured online at www.kleeneze.co.uk/kitchen and in the new 2010 catalogue, which launches on 17
December alongside a new TV campaign.
The recipes showcase the benefits of a number of Kleeneze cooking aids, including its oven roasting bags, salad
dressers and green bags (which keep vegetables fresh by trapping the ethylene gas released when they ripen).
Jamie Stewart, managing director of Kleeneze, says: “Our emphasis has always been on providing innovative products
that make life easier. Many professional chefs use these items to help them get the best results and it’s great to
have someone of Nigel’s standing to help showcase our range to customers.
“Nigel will also play an important role in supporting our 10,000 distributors across the UK, allowing them to
demonstrate the benefits of their products to customers and providing them with some amazing recipes to try out for
themselves.”
Nigel’s TV credits include his own series, ‘Nigel Smith Challenges’ and regular appearances on UKTV Food and
Granada. He has won Life Magazine’s Chef of the Year and is twice winner of its Restaurant of the Year, as well
picking up Taste of Britain and Good Food Guide awards.
Nigel says, “Most recipes focus on the quality of ingredients, but highlighting how to get the most out of the
available tools and equipment is just as important when trying to create the perfect meal. The quality of cookware
and innovative solutions that Kleeneze provide are excellent and it’s great to be able to show these off at their
best.”
The launch of Nigel’s recipes and the new TV campaign coincides with a renewed recruitment drive by Kleeneze which
has capacity to add a further 5,000 distributors across the UK in 2010.
Jamie Stewart says, “More people are becoming aware of the opportunity that Kleeneze offers, whether that is for
part-time work to top up household income or as an effective way to build your own business with minimal capital
investment.
“Raising our profile with initiatives such as this one, help to showcase how our business works and grow our
network, as well as to increase the number of customers we serve across the UK.”

About Kleeneze
Kleeneze distributors go door-to-door delivering and picking up catalogues from households, taking orders and then
dropping off their customers’ products. They earn money for every order placed and can also build a team of fellow
distributors to further boost their earnings.
The catalogues feature over 1,500 products ranging from everyday essentials to innovations that you never knew you
needed.
Kleeneze has approximately 10,000 distributors across the UK, Ireland and parts of Europe. The company estimates
that its distributors visit 2.5 million homes every month, delivering over 10 million catalogues and generating
over half a million orders.
